Our Story

Ginger and Ivory Co. was born from a desire to fulfill a creative void in owner Jessica Moore's dissatisfying professional career. She flew through 3 jobs in 5 years, constantly in search of something that wasn't there.

Eventually, she began crafting as an outlet to relieve stress. From painting to wreath making to wood working, the day finally came when she picked up an old wood burning pen to make a sign for her gallery wall. It was a slow, deliberate, relaxing craft that quickly ignited from hobby to passion.

Jessica started selling her wood burned creations at local holiday craft shows. She started with signs, Christmas ornaments, and coasters. Based off of customer feedback and suggestions, she slowly progressed into solely making kitchenware products.

Jessica loves nature and all it encompasses, so combining beautiful wood grains with nature inspired drawings and turning it into a piece of functional art just made sense to her - and her customers agreed.

A year after Ginger and Ivory Co was born, Jessica left her full time job. Now she gets to be creative everyday, and she gets to show her children that you can create your dream life by doing what you love.
